Procedure
& Fees
Mr. Cruz will
personally discuss with you the vision you have for your portrait. This
consultation is in person or on the telephone depending on distance from
studio. At this time, such things as clothing, composition, background detail,
props, where portrait will hang and price range are discussed.
After completion of
the portrait session, a time will be made for selecting your portrait pose and
ordering. From his portrait studies, Mr. Cruz then collaborates with you and
gives his recommendations. By the end of the appointment the composition of
your portrait and fees will be completely agreed upon and will be final. Due to
the custom nature of our product we ask that you be prepared to pay for your
order At The Placement of Your Order. If other arrangements are needed, we will
do our best to work with you. We have no open accounts, but do accept
MasterCard & Visa.
Following this
appointment, Mr. Cruz will plan, sketch to scale and create your portrait
according to your specifications. The completion time of your work will be
governed by what you select. Upon completion, immediate arrangements are made
for the delivery of the portrait.Miniature, table size portraits 8x10 to 11x14
range from $125 to $1,500 depending on finish and medium selected. Wall
portraits range from $350 to $8300, again depending on finish and medium
selected. Prices quoted are for one or two figures in the same portrait. It
must be noted that Mr. Cruz does not charge extra for elaborate backgrounds.
Prices do not include framing, crating, shipping or sales tax. Portraits can be
created on canvas, linen or watercolor paper.
It is agreed that
rights to exclusive use and ownership of negatives, materials, and
reproductions there from are reserved by Cruz Portrait Design for display,
publicity or otherwise.
